About the event
After an extraordinary 2019 gardening season with volunteers from the Perform Centre, the mind.heart.mouth. project aligns its edible garden philosophy with the Loyola Campus tree planting strategy. In a special workshop offered in the context of the NextGenCities event, we will use soil, vermicompost, berry and other fruit seeds to engage in conscious reflections about our relationship with soil and the natural environment. During this event, visitors will be invited to plant their own fruit tree. Everyone then has the opportunity to come back to 4th Space to look after their growing seedling. During the last week of the NextGenCities, participants will have the option to adopt their seedling to take it home, or to donate it for it to be planted on the Loyola Campus in the spring, with or without a tag bearing their name.
